Habitus e imaginación
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article intends to enrich and widen the scope of the notion of habitus, by introducing in its working logic the processes of imagination. First, the article explains the reasons why habitus needs this complement. Then, it introduces a specific concept of imagination (C. Castoriadis’s concept), which has no subjectivist or idealist connotations. After that, the article details a group of formal relations between habitus and imagination, which lead to the idea of social agent as a dynamic unity of regularity and contingency. Finally, the analysis includes some empirical and theoretical derivations of this proposal.
