Social vulnerability to disasters in Tucta, Nacajuca

Abstract
This article describes the general processes that modified the relationship of the community of Tucta, Nacajuca, in the state of Tabasco, with its surroundings, from the second half of the 20th century to the present, when economic policies were applied that changed their lifestyle. At the same time, new conditions of social vulnerability to disasters associated with flooding were constructed. Tucta saw changes in its hydraulic system, the construction of medians, land grants, the relocation and building of a new kind of housing, among other things, designed to improve its quality of life, which was partially achieved.
