Human communication: The origins of sociological reflection
Main Article Content
Abstract
Within the sociological field, there would appear to be a degree of agreement that the “social reality” —or simply “society”— is the result of the persistent link between human beings, which is usually called “social interaction”. Without attempting to deny that sociological common sense, this text will focus on a certain element that originates early in human ontogeny —on a natural rather than a social way— and which is constituted as fundamental way in the subsequent development: the problem of communication as a central element of sociological reflection.
