The militant transversality and the political participation
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article proposes to give an account of how militants engage in different spaces of participation assuming diverse commitments and establishing a process of “multi-positioning or transversality” along
their militant trajectory. It analyzes the history of a feminist militant from the province of Jujuy, Argentina, using the career perspective
proposed by Howard Becker, which puts forward a longitudinal analysis of trajectories considering the objective and subjective aspects of the militant’s account. Methodologically, a qualitative perspective was developed from the use of the life story technique.
