Motherhood and unpaid work in the context of Covid-19
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work aims to problematize unpaid work (housework and care) during the Jornada Nacional de Sana Distancia for Covid-2019, for women residing in Mexico, with children under 12 years of age. In addition, it presents some reflections on motherhood, unpaid work and paid employment during the pandemic and how gender inequities are reinforced. The analysis focuses on the time intended by women to direct care, indirect care and self-care, according to their marital status and the number of children.
