En memoria de Elinor Ostrom
Main Article Content
Abstract
Elinor Ostrom’s work is a formidable contribution to the search for alternative ways to conserve biodiversity while enhancing the development of indigenous and peasant communities that depend on natural systems and resources. Her work is particularly important for a megadiverse country such as Mexico, where much of the biological wealth is found in territories owned by traditionally marginalized and impoverished indigenous and peasant communities.
