The identity of young people in the era of globalization
Main Article Content
Abstract
The identity of today’s youth is multiple and diverse and is influenced by historical processes and social dimensions that structure its scope, content and form. This results in different ways of being young. Although consumption is only one of the dimensions in the analysis of youth identity, it is important for its understanding. This paper discusses how this dimension helps explain the identity of young people in the era of globalization.
