Tensions over organizational culture in Petróleos Mexicanos, Southern Region
Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent years, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and Mexico’s Southern Petroleum Region have been undergoing structural changes that are directly linked to the gradual incorporation of foreign workers and the implementation of methodologies involving organizational change in productive areas of the parastate company. These changes have resulted in tensions between Mexican and Venezuelan workers, discussed in this article through an analysis of Pemex’s organizational culture.
