An individual experience in the social figuration of Business
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyses the life of a street-sellers’ leader in Mexico City, through his biographical account, with the purpose of understanding both in the macrosocial analytical insights that can be drawn from
the study of an individual experience and in the way in which, with a sociological interest of its own, social and figurative dynamics are embodied in an individual experience. This articulation connects theoretically and methodologically the analysis of the subjective
dimension of the individual and the objective character of society, observing the process through which individuals are created in today’s Mexico.
